RostestUSA Announces Agreement with RosTechNadzor (formerly known as GGTN - GosGorTechNadzor)
Agreement to simplify product licensing process
NEW YORK — October 5, 2005
Today, RostestUSA announces it's agreement with ROSTECHNADZOR (FORMERLY KNOWN AS GGTN - GOSGORTEKHNADZOR) to immediately act as its sole, licensed agent outside of the Russian Federation. RostestUSA will begin taking permit applications immediately. You will require a ROSTECHNADZOR (FORMERLY KNOWN AS GGTN - GOSGORTEKHNADZOR) Permit for the installation, start-up, and operation of your equipment on the territory of the Russian Federation.
ROSTECHNADZOR (FORMERLY KNOWN AS GGTN - GOSGORTEKHNADZOR) of Russia is a federal agency charged with enforcing safety of use of all potentially hazardous equipment.
Scope and responsibilities of ROSTECHNADZOR (FORMERLY KNOWN AS GGTN - GOSGORTEKHNADZOR)
As of February 18, 1993 by order # 234 of the President of the Russian Federation, ROSTECHNADZOR (FORMERLY KNOWN AS GGTN - GOSGORTEKHNADZOR) is the central organ of federal executive power, performing nominative government regulation of industrial safety on the territory of the Russian Federation, as wells as special decision making, supervision and control functions.
